All set up at the Liberty Galleria in Franklin

Just a small display to get started.
I put my finely honed IKEA assembly skills to the test.  Went together really easy.  When I am assembling IKEA furniture, I always think of that 3rd Rock From The Sun episode, where the aliens praise the genius of the IKEA tool.

The correct tools make a big difference.  I always employ a power screw driver, rubber mallet, and awl, in addition to that brilliant, included tool.  Those holes are never in the proper place.

Chelsae will add her items, soon.  We'll probably change things up a bit as time goes by.  If things go really well, we maybe add a 5 foot by 5 foot shelving unit, just like this one.

Liberty Galleria in Franklin, PA

Just got back from a trip up to my old stomping grounds, Franklin, PA.  I have not been there in more than 5 years.  What a change!  It has a thriving local commerce on the main drag.  I am so impressed.

My purpose for the trip was to find out what the Liberty Galleria is all about.  In a nut shell, they are a retail incubator to help start up businesses get established. A brick and mortar Etsy.

I believe there are about 35 vendors.  Here's an assortment of business cards from the vendors.

The front windows are decorated every season with clever, economical, and whimsical displays.  This season's theme is Under the Sea.  These are jelly fish made from coffee filters.
One of the vendors makes many upcycled items from thrift store finds.  Very creative use of ties!
Everything from art to furniture, jewelry to toys.

These wooden toys made by Kent's Krafts are very popular.  Kent does many amazing things with wood.  I met him during my visit.  Such a kind, creative soul.
I couldn't resist purchasing one of Kent's Krafts helicopters for The Boy.  Very reasonable for around $8.00.  Looks like The Boy approves.

So if you get the chance, float on over to the Liberty Galleria in Franklin.  If you wait until after July 1st, you can touch and sniff some Berry Patch yarn, too!  Chelsae of Viridian Muse is joining me in a space there.  You need to see her fairies in person!

Yarn, yarn, and more yarn

I'm obsessed with yarn.  Dyeing yarn to be more exact.  I constantly a thinking of colorways I want to create.

I want it!

..that is Alex's first real sentence. He is a tenacious, driven little guy.  The phrase seems fitting.
