Liberty Galleria in Franklin, PA

Just got back from a trip up to my old stomping grounds, Franklin, PA.  I have not been there in more than 5 years.  What a change!  It has a thriving local commerce on the main drag.  I am so impressed.

My purpose for the trip was to find out what the Liberty Galleria is all about.  In a nut shell, they are a retail incubator to help start up businesses get established. A brick and mortar Etsy.

I believe there are about 35 vendors.  Here's an assortment of business cards from the vendors.

The front windows are decorated every season with clever, economical, and whimsical displays.  This season's theme is Under the Sea.  These are jelly fish made from coffee filters.
One of the vendors makes many upcycled items from thrift store finds.  Very creative use of ties!
Everything from art to furniture, jewelry to toys.

These wooden toys made by Kent's Krafts are very popular.  Kent does many amazing things with wood.  I met him during my visit.  Such a kind, creative soul.
I couldn't resist purchasing one of Kent's Krafts helicopters for The Boy.  Very reasonable for around $8.00.  Looks like The Boy approves.

So if you get the chance, float on over to the Liberty Galleria in Franklin.  If you wait until after July 1st, you can touch and sniff some Berry Patch yarn, too!  Chelsae of Viridian Muse is joining me in a space there.  You need to see her fairies in person!
